Is paying extra money to buy movies on blu-ray for a 32 inch lcd really worth it?
I have a 32 inch lcd 720p and a ps3. I am wondering if buying the blu-ray discs over the regular dvd’s are really worth it or not. I like watching alot of movies and i have a 1000w surround sound hooked up to the tv. Most blu ray movies are on average 10$ more then the regular dvd movies. I plan on buying alot of movies. Is it really worth it purchasing the blu-rays instead of the normal dvds?
For example i plan on buying the godfather movies (all 3 come in a pack) would it be worth spending the extra 30$ and getting the blu ray for the tv i have?

No it’s not worth it, your tv is only a 720P and you won’t get the benifit of the Blue Ray movies. If you had a 50″ 1080P plasma then yes buying Blue Ray would be fine. Even if you had a 1080P 32″ LCD it won’t make a difference, only if you had a bigger screen of at less 50″ will the picture look better. Save your money.
