copy blu-ray movies to dvd
Where can I get a Blu-ray disc without a digital copy?

Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase Blu-ray copies of DVD’s without being forced to buy the pointless digital copies that so often come with them? I don’t want these extra discs as I have no use whatsoever for them (I do have portable media devices but I rarely tend to use them for movies) and I resent paying an extra £5 or so for an item I’ll never use. I want the Blu-ray disc alone. Any ideas?

They probably didn’t produce any disc without the digital copy so you’re stuck with that. It doesn’t mean you have to use it. I don’t know for sure if it causes the price to be higher than it would without it. “The digital copy exists either pre-encoded on the DVD or is created dynamically from the DVD content itself.” Digital copies are pretty much a joke as they don’t really let you copy the movie to or play the movie on other devices like you’d think. DRM “digital restrictions management” is so frustrating – Defective By Design products. Personally I’d probably rather not have it on there as well, even if it doesn’t affect price.
